路德維希•凡•貝多芬（1770年12月16日-1827年3月26日），德國傑出的音樂家，維也納古典樂派代表人物之一，世界音樂史上最偉大的作曲家之一。他的作品對世界音樂的發展有著非常深遠的影響，因此被尊稱為“樂聖”和“交響樂之王”。
這位元集古典音樂之大成，開浪漫主義之先河的先驅，26歲便已感到聽覺日漸衰弱，直至五十六歲聽覺已完全喪失。貝多芬征服我們的不止是音樂本身，更是他偉大的人格精神。
